I hope you are all staying warm in this little cold snap we can’t seem to get out of.
As some, if not most of you have noticed we have had some long standing issues with the roadway leading both into the neighborhood, throughout the main entrance and in certain spots throughout Brookshire.
The City has attempted several short term fixes while we work with them to address the issues and come up with a permanent solution. With the extreme rains that we got and then followed by such a hard, deep freeze, the water underneath the pavement is leading to the cracks, potholes and other problems you are all seeing and reporting.
I can assure you that we are constantly in touch with the head of public works, Mr. Pat Flood, and they have engineers assessing the issue.
